My Nan gave it to me shortly before she died.

3. ⁠How old were you when I got it? 23, think

Sitting at my Nan’s dressing table with her as a kid and going through all of her jewellery and makeup. She’d talk to me about it all, and I seem to recall it being a fairly regular occurrence. She said this piece was a gift, and she really liked it but was sad that it was a dead butterfly inside it. She’d also wear it on special occasions, when I was a bit older, and I always thought that was cool, and remembered her showing me when I was young.

I feel Sentimental, and appreciate those memories seeing it

6. ⁠If you no longer had it, what would you miss? It’s a pretty core memory. So I think I’d definitely think about it from time to time if I didn’t have it. I think I’d miss having that connection to such a good childhood memory, and then connection to my Nan.
