British Art Medal

The object is an art medal-small sculpture-by a dutch artist called Guus Hellegers. I found it in a small gallery on Lamb conduit street in London when walking back to ST Pancras Station in 1999, I was 34 at the time.

I remember that day in London it was Autumn and the Sun was shining. It makes me feel happy and reminds me of how pleased I was to have found something i liked so much. If I didn’t have it I would miss catching a glimpse of it and how it makes me feel. it was the first art medal i bought.
